人视网膜色素上皮细胞说明:
人视网膜是由位于眼睛后部多层结构组成的。它包括视细胞和视网膜色素上皮细胞(RPE),视网膜色素细胞通过提供营养和代谢废物来滋养视网膜。RPE位于神经视网膜和脉络膜之间,成为血视网膜屏障的外层控制着视网膜下间隙的化学成分,人们发现RPE在许多蛋白质的极性方面不同于其他上皮细胞。几乎所有的上皮细胞的顶生面都没有基质,而RPE的顶生面胞膜是与细胞外基质相接触的。在早期胚胎发育过程中,RPE自发转分化为神经视网膜组织,RPE在其邻近的光感受器的发育和维持中有着重要的作用,光照条件下RPE能产生大量的活性氧,RPE的增殖也是许多眼病发病过程中重要的一步,如增殖性视网膜病变。
人视网膜色素上皮细胞(HRPEpiC)提取于人视网膜组织,于原代冻存。每管含有细胞数>5×105,此细胞通过Cytokeratin-18, Cytokeratin-19 and Fibronectin免疫荧光染色验证,经测试不含有HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原体、细菌、酵母和真菌。细胞可以达到10倍增。
